The brand was originally created by the Zach family in Feldbach in 1949 and has since become a staple of the Austrian snack market. The image displays the ingredient list and recycling information typical of a Soletti drum or bucket, which is a common packaging format for large gatherings in the DACH region.

Today, the brand is part of Kelly Ges.m.b.H., the leading savory snack producer in Austria. Kelly's was acquired by the German snack titan Intersnack in 2008. While the brand remains deeply rooted in Austrian culture and continues to produce its snacks in its domestic facility in Feldbach, the ultimate ownership lies with the Intersnack Group headquartered in Germany.
