Colhogar is a prominent household hygiene brand primarily serving the Spanish and Portuguese markets. Originally established in the mid-20th century under the ownership of Spanish industrial entities, the brand became a household name for high-quality paper products including toilet paper, kitchen towels, and facial tissues.

Over the decades, the brand's ownership transitioned through various international paper conglomerates. It was part of the James River Corporation and Georgia-Pacific before being acquired by the Swedish hygiene and health giant SCA. In 2017, SCA spun off its hygiene operations into a new independent company called Essity. Today, Colhogar is one of Essity's leading local brands in Southern Europe, benefiting from global sustainability standards and manufacturing technology while maintaining its strong regional identity and historical roots in the Iberian market.
