Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear is a long-wearing, full-coverage foundation known for its matte finish and diverse shade range. The product is part of Lancôme’s extensive makeup line, which focuses on delivering high-performance luxury cosmetics infused with skincare benefits like Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E.
Founded in 1935 by Armand Petitjean in France, Lancôme began as a fragrance house before expanding into skincare and makeup. The brand was named after the ruins of the Le Château de Lancosme, and its iconic golden rose symbol was inspired by the roses growing around the site.
In 1964, Lancôme was acquired by L'Oréal, the world's largest cosmetics company. Today, it remains a flagship brand within L'Oréal's Luxe Division. While L'Oréal has a global manufacturing footprint, Lancôme's high-end cosmetic and fragrance products are predominantly manufactured in France, maintaining the heritage and 'French elegance' that the brand was built upon.
