Toro is an iconic Norwegian food brand known for its convenience products, particularly its extensive line of dehydrated sauces and soups. Founded in Bergen in 1946, it has become a staple of Scandinavian kitchens. The brand is celebrated for its ability to provide consistent high-quality flavors that cater specifically to Norwegian culinary preferences.

Fløtesaus, or creamy sauce, is one of its most popular products, traditionally paired with meatballs or game. While the brand started as an independent venture by Rieber & Søn, it was acquired by the Orkla Group in 2013, solidifying its place within one of the largest consumer goods conglomerates in the Nordic region. Today, Toro continues to manufacture its products primarily at its facility in Arna, outside of Bergen, maintaining its local heritage while benefiting from Orkla's extensive distribution network.
