Wrangler denim clothing

Wrangler is an iconic American brand known primarily for its durable denim jeans and workwear. The brand traces its roots back to the Hudson Overall Company founded in Greensboro, North Carolina, in 1904. It was later renamed Blue Bell Overall Company and officially launched the Wrangler brand in 1947, designed specifically for rodeo riders and cowboys.

Today, Wrangler is no longer under the ownership of its original founding companies. In 2019, VF Corporation spun off its jeanswear division—including Wrangler and Lee—into a separate, independent publicly traded company called Kontoor Brands, Inc. While the brand carries a strong American heritage, its manufacturing is global, with production facilities located in several countries including Vietnam, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Bangladesh to meet international demand.
