Lucky Brand is an American fashion house founded in 1990 in Vernon, California, by Gene Montesano and Barry Perlman. The brand quickly became iconic for its vintage-inspired denim, distinctive 'Lucky You' zipper flies, and eclectic Americana aesthetic. Originally established as a premium denim company, it expanded its range to include footwear, accessories, and a full lifestyle collection that emphasizes a relaxed, Southern California spirit.

Over the decades, the brand has transitioned through several ownership structures. It was acquired by Liz Claiborne in 1999 and later sold to the private equity firm Leonard Green & Partners in 2013. In 2020, following financial restructuring, the brand was acquired by SPARC Group LLC, a joint venture between Authentic Brands Group (ABG) and Simon Property Group. While the brand was born in the United States, its manufacturing is now global, with production distributed across a network of facilities in various countries to serve its international retail and department store presence.
