Frigor Washing Machine

Frigor is a Danish home appliance brand with a history dating back to 1960. It was founded by Tage Nielsen, who initially identified a gap in the Danish market for freezers. Over the decades, the brand evolved from a specialized manufacturer of cooling units and commercial refrigerators (serving clients like Coca-Cola) into a full-range household appliance provider.

In July 2022, the brand was acquired by the WhiteAway Group from Vibocold A/S. WhiteAway Group, which also owns major retail chains like Skousen, now utilizes Frigor as a private label brand. While the brand remains Danish in its identity and design heritage, manufacturing is typically outsourced to international partners. Large manufacturers such as Gorenje and LG have historically produced appliances under the Frigor name to the brand owner's specifications.
