Bisto is arguably one of the most iconic food brands in the United Kingdom, famously known for its gravy granules and the 'Aah! Bisto' marketing slogan. The brand was originally created in 1908 by Cerebos as a way to easily thicken and flavor gravies. Over more than a century, it has become a household staple across the British Isles.

The product shown is the Southern Style Gravy Granules, which offers a peppercorn-style flavor profile inspired by American Southern cuisine. Despite the international flavor profile, the product is primarily manufactured in the United Kingdom, specifically at the Premier Foods facility in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

Today, Bisto is owned by Premier Foods, a British food manufacturer that acquired the brand as part of Rank Hovis McDougall in 2007. Premier Foods remains the ultimate owner and operates out of its headquarters in St Albans, continuing to market Bisto as 'The Nation's Favourite' gravy brand.
