Santagloria Coffee

Santagloria Coffee & Bakery is a prominent Spanish chain of bakery-cafés that originated in 1963. It was founded by Pere Gallés and his wife Gloria, starting as a traditional neighborhood bakery in Barcelona. Over several decades, the brand evolved from a local family business into a leading 'bakery-boutique' concept, combining artisan bread production with a modern café experience.

In 2015, the brand was acquired by FoodBox, a multi-brand restaurant platform backed at the time by Nazca Capital. Since 2022, following the acquisition of FoodBox by the investment fund BlueGem Capital Partners and its subsequent integration with the Lateral restaurant group, the brand has been part of The FoodBox Group (formerly FoodBox-Lateral). Headquartered in Madrid, the group oversees a vast network of hundreds of locations. While primarily focused on the Spanish market, Santagloria has expanded internationally with locations in Portugal, Andorra, and most recently, Mexico.
