MarineTraffic is the world's leading provider of ship tracking and maritime intelligence. In early 2023, MarineTraffic was acquired by Kpler, a global leader in data and analytics for commodities. This acquisition merged MarineTraffic’s comprehensive vessel tracking capabilities with Kpler's advanced market intelligence tools, creating a unified powerhouse for maritime transparency and supply chain visibility. While the brand originated as a Greek academic project, it now operates under Kpler's international corporate structure, headquartered in Brussels.
