De Verraders (The Traitors) TV Series

The image captures Château de Béduer in France, which serves as the filming location for the Dutch reality television series De Verraders (The Traitors). The show was originally developed by IDTV, a Dutch production company based in Amsterdam. It premiered in 2021 on RTL 4 and has since become a global phenomenon with numerous international adaptations.

The brand and format are owned by IDTV, which is a subsidiary of the pan-European entertainment company All3Media. In early 2024, RedBird IMI announced the acquisition of All3Media from its previous owners, Warner Bros. Discovery and Liberty Global, making RedBird IMI the ultimate parent entity. While the series is filmed on location in France, the creative production and technical execution are primarily managed by Dutch teams.
