Singoalla is a classic Swedish sandwich biscuit with a shortbread base, vanilla-flavored cream filling, and a center of raspberry jam. Originally launched in 1964 by Göteborgs Kex, it has become one of Sweden's most beloved cookies. The brand's identity is deeply rooted in the Swedish 'fika' culture.
While the brand originated in Kungälv, Sweden, production was moved in recent years. In 2022, the owner Orkla decided to relocate cake and biscuit production from the historic factory in Kungälv to a new, modern facility in Ādaži, Latvia, to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Today, the brand is owned by the Norwegian conglomerate Orkla through its Swedish subsidiary, Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Sverige.
