Following a period of financial instability under previous owners like Nueva Rumasa, the brand was revitalized in 2012 when it was acquired by the Agrupación de Cooperativas Lácteas (CLUN), a major Galician dairy cooperative. Today, Clesa products are primarily manufactured in Caldas de Reis, Galicia, utilizing milk sourced from local farmers. The brand represents a significant success story in the Spanish cooperative movement, maintaining a strong market presence in the refrigerated dessert segment.
