It is crafted following traditional recipes that include a meticulous aging process of approximately nine months, during which the cheese is treated with a secret herbal brine to develop its characteristic spicy and aromatic profile.

The brand is a signature product of Studer Söhne AG, a traditional Swiss dairy company. Known formally as Käserei Studer, the company has deep roots in Swiss cheesemaking excellence. In recent years, the company became part of the Emmi Group, Switzerland's largest milk processor, which helps distribute these artisanal Swiss specialties to international markets, including Sweden.
