Mitsubishi Motors is a historic Japanese automotive manufacturer that has been a cornerstone of the global car industry for over a century. The Mirage G4, prominently featuring the three-diamond logo on its grille as seen in the image, is a subcompact sedan designed for fuel efficiency and urban mobility.
Originally a core part of the Mitsubishi Group, the automotive division became an independent entity, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. In late 2016, following a fuel economy controversy, Nissan acquired a 34% stake in the company, bringing it into the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance. Today, it operates as a key member of this alliance, which is one of the world's largest automotive groups. While its roots are firmly Japanese, the manufacturing of models like the Mirage G4 has been shifted largely to Southeast Asian hubs to optimize production for emerging markets.
