Merser & Co. Signature Rum is a premium spirit that represents the revival of London's historic rum blending tradition. The liquid itself is a masterfully crafted blend of aged rums sourced from diverse Caribbean islands, including Barbados, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic. These rums are aged for up to 12 years in their respective tropical climates before being transported to London. Once in the UK, the spirits are blended and allowed to marry in large wooden barrels for a period of six months safely within the city's temperate climate, which helps refine the flavor profile.

The brand was established by the Hayman family, renowned figures in the British distilling industry with a heritage dating back over 150 years. By opening the first rum blending house in London in over a century, the family aimed to honor the city's 18th and 19th-century history as a global hub for rum trade and maturation. Today, the brand remains under the stewardship of Hayman Distillers, continuing their legacy of artisanal English spirits production.
