Diadermine is a long-standing dermatological skincare brand with a rich history dating back to early 20th-century France. Originally founded by the Giambattista and Bonetti brothers, the brand quickly became known for its 'Crème Médicale' and high-tolerance skin solutions. Throughout its evolution, Diadermine has maintained a focus on dermatological expertise, becoming one of the first brands globally to receive the ECARF (European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation) seal for its hypoallergenic properties.
In terms of ownership, Diadermine was a cornerstone of the Henkel Group’s beauty portfolio for decades until a major strategic shift in the 2020s. As of late 2024, the brand was part of a significant divestment by Henkel, being sold to Laboratoires Sarbec, a French specialist in personal care and hygiene products. While many products historically carried German manufacturing marks under Henkel's stewardship, production is increasingly centered in France and Slovenia to align with Sarbec's European manufacturing footprint. The brand continues to be a staple in European pharmacies and retail chains, particularly in France, Spain, and Portugal.
