The brand pioneered the introduction of potato chips and popcorn to the Swedish market, becoming a staple in Nordic households. Its headquarters and main production facility are located in Angered, Gothenburg, Sweden, which serves as the heart of its manufacturing operations.

Over the decades, ownership has transitioned from the founder to major international conglomerates. After being part of the Marabou/Freia group and later Kraft Foods (now Mondelez), the brand was sold to the European snack giant Intersnack Group.
