Dove is one of the world's most recognized personal care brands, first launched in the United States in 1957 by Lever Brothers with its signature 'Beauty Bar'. The brand has since expanded into a comprehensive range of hygiene and beauty products, including the Advanced Care line of antiperspirants which features pro-ceramide technology and skin-moisturizing benefits.
Today, Dove is a flagship brand of the British multinational consumer goods giant Unilever. Manufacturing for Dove roll-ons is highly decentralized to support global demand; however, a significant portion of the production for the European and North American markets takes place in specialized facilities in the United Kingdom or through regional manufacturing hubs in Germany, Mexico, and Australia. Unilever maintains ultimate ownership of the brand from its global headquarters in London.
