Zalman is a renowned South Korean brand that specialized in 'noiseless' computing solutions since its inception in the late 1990s. The company gained international fame for its innovative flower-shaped heatsinks and advanced liquid cooling systems, such as the LQ1000 series, which catered to PC enthusiasts and overclockers seeking high performance with minimal acoustic output.

While the brand faced significant financial challenges and corporate restructuring following a major scandal involving its former parent company, Moneual, in 2014, Zalman successfully emerged from court receivership. Today, it continues to operate as an independent entity focused on its core strengths in thermal management and PC chassis design. Manufacturing remains centered in South Korea for high-end components, with higher-volume assembly often outsourced to facilities in China.
