Sant'Anna di Vinadio is one of Italy's most prominent mineral water brands, renowned for its high-altitude source in the Maritime Alps. The water is bottled directly from the Rebruant spring, located at 1,503 meters above sea level in the province of Cuneo. The brand is particularly famous for its 'Sant'Anna' line, which is promoted for its low sodium content and suitability for infants.
The manufacturing process takes place in a highly automated facility in Vinadio, which is considered one of the largest and most technologically advanced bottling plants in the world. This ensures that the water remains pure from the source to the bottle. The brand pioneered the use of environmentally friendly packaging, including 'BioBottle,' a bottle made from plant-based materials.
Unlike many global beverage brands owned by multinational conglomerates, Sant'Anna remains under the ownership of Fonti di Vinadio S.p.A., a company founded and led by the Bertone family. Alberto Bertone, the current President and CEO, has overseen the brand's growth into a market leader in Italy through aggressive marketing and logistical efficiency.
