Delphi Software

It was originally developed by Borland as a successor to Turbo Pascal. Over the decades, Delphi has undergone several changes in ownership, evolving from Borland to CodeGear, then to Embarcadero Technologies.

Today, Delphi is part of the Idera property portfolio. The development of the software is primarily led by teams in the United States, though it serves a global community of developers. It remains a flagship tool for building natively compiled applications for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux from a single codebase, maintaining its legacy as one of the most influential RAD (Rapid Application Development) tools in computing history.
