Orbit is a globally recognized brand of sugarless chewing gum and mints. Originally launched by the Wrigley Company, it was first introduced in the United States in 1944 as a wartime replacement for other brands that were being sent to soldiers. However, it was discontinued after the war and did not reappear in the U.S. until much later, after becoming highly successful in Europe and other international markets.

Today, Orbit is owned by Mars, Incorporated, a powerhouse in the global confectionery industry. This ownership followed Mars' significant acquisition of the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company in 2008. The product shown, Orbit Professional Mints, is part of their dental care-focused line. While Mars operates manufacturing facilities across the globe, products sold in the European market are frequently manufactured in Poland, which houses one of Mars Wrigley's largest and most advanced production sites.
