Mikado is a popular biscuit stick snack that originated from the Japanese 'Pocky' product. In the European market, it is marketed under the brand LU (Lefèvre-Utile). The product consists of crunchy biscuit sticks dipped in chocolate, leaving a small undipped portion at one end for handling.

While the original technology belongs to the Japanese company Ezaki Glico, the brand's presence in Europe is a result of a long-standing partnership. The LU brand itself was founded in Nantes, France, in 1846. Today, the Mikado brand is produced through a joint venture between Mondelēz International and Ezaki Glico, with most European distribution manufactured in France to maintain the quality standards of the historic LU brand.
