Seepje is a Dutch B Corp certified brand that revolutionizes the cleaning industry by using 100% natural ingredients, specifically the husks of Sapindus mukorossi fruits (soapnuts) from the Himalayas. Founded in 2013 by two students who were inspired by how people used fruit shells to wash clothes, the brand focuses on social and environmental impact. The liquid detergent shown is made with 99% natural ingredients and is packaged in bottles made from recycled Dutch plastic.

Historically, Seepje started as a small startup in the Netherlands and has grown into a significant player in the sustainable cleaning market. The manufacturing process primarily takes place in the Netherlands to minimize the carbon footprint of logistics, though the raw soapnut shells are sourced from Nepal and India. The brand is currently owned by the Dutch company Seepje B.V., which remains headquartered in The Hague.
