Merrild is a household name in Denmark, founded in 1964 by Møller H. Merrild in Fredericia. The brand is synonymous with the Danish 'hygge' culture and has historically been the leading coffee brand in the Danish retail market. The Vienna Roast featured in the image is a medium-dark roast known for its full-bodied flavor and notes of nuts and chocolate.

While the brand started as a small Danish roastery, it has undergone several ownership changes over the decades.
