The Magnat MC 200 is a compact high-end stereo receiver and network player designed by the German audio specialist Magnat. Founded in 1973, Magnat has established itself as a premier European brand in high-fidelity sound. While the engineering and acoustic design are headquartered in Germany to ensure strict quality standards, manufacturing is primarily carried out in China.

Since 2003, Magnat has been owned by the American conglomerate VOXX International Corporation (formerly Audiovox), which manages a large portfolio of premium audio brands. Today, the brand remains a significant player in the global home audio market, combining classic Hi-Fi values with modern digital streaming capabilities.
