Bolletje Chonelly is a popular Dutch snack consisting of a crunchy biscuit finger coated in milk chocolate. The Bolletje brand has a deep-rooted history in the Netherlands, dating back to 1867 when Gerardus Johannes ter Beek opened a bakery in Almelo. Over generations, the family business expanded into a major industrial baker known for traditional Dutch products like beskuit (rusks), ginger nuts, and various biscuits.

While the brand remained independent and family-owned for most of its history, it was acquired in 2013 by the German food group Borggreve. Despite the change in ownership, Bolletje maintains its distinct Dutch identity and continues to manufacture its products primarily in its historic production facilities in Almelo and Heerde, Netherlands. The brand is a staple in Dutch households, recognized by its smiling baker logo.
