Rolo is a world-renowned brand famous for its truncated cone-shaped chocolates filled with caramel. Originally created by Mackintosh's in the United Kingdom in 1937, the brand underwent a significant change in ownership when Mackintosh's merged with Rowntree's, which was subsequently acquired by the Swiss multinational Nestlé in 1988.

While the original Rolo chocolate is produced by Nestlé worldwide (except in the US where it is licensed to Hershey), the chilled dessert products like the one shown in the image are often produced through a long-standing joint venture between Nestlé and Lactalis, known as Lactalis Nestlé Chilled Dairy. This manufacturing arrangement leverages Lactalis's expertise in dairy production and Nestlé's powerful branding to distribute chilled snacks throughout Europe and international markets.
