Benromach is a traditional Speyside distillery located in Forres, Scotland. Founded in 1898, it represents one of the smaller, family-owned operations in the Scotch whisky industry. The brand is known for its 'classic' Speyside style, often featuring a subtle touch of peat smoke that was more common in the region's historical production.

In 1993, the brand and distillery were purchased by Gordon & MacPhail, a renowned family-owned independent bottler and retail business based in Elgin. After a complete refurbishment, the distillery was officially reopened by King Charles III (then Prince of Wales) in 1998. Today, Benromach remains under the ownership of Gordon & MacPhail, maintaining a commitment to traditional hand-crafted methods without the use of automated machinery or computers in the distillation process.
