DA Hand Gel

DA Hand Gel is a private-label hand sanitizer produced for and by the DA drugstore chain, a well-known retail brand in the Netherlands. The brand "DA" stands for 'Dierbare Apotheek' (Dear Pharmacy) and has been a staple of the Dutch high street since its founding in 1944 as a cooperative of independent pharmacists.

The product is primarily manufactured in the Netherlands for the domestic market. As a private-label product, it is distributed exclusively through DA drugstores and their online platforms. Ownership of the DA brand has changed several times; it was acquired by the retail group NDS (Nederlandse Drogisterij Service) in 2015, which in turn is a subsidiary of Mosadex Groep. Mosadex is a major pharmaceutical wholesaler in the Netherlands owned by over 800 independent pharmacists, ensuring the brand remains under Dutch control and deeply rooted in local healthcare retail.
