duplo is a popular chocolate bar brand originally launched in Germany in 1964. It is famously marketed as "Die wahrscheinlich längste Praline der Welt" (probably the longest praline in the world). The product shown, 'Choco Duo', is a variation featuring cocoa cream, dark chocolate, and a crispy cocoa wafer.
The brand was created by Ferrero, an Italian multinational confectionery company. While Fererro is an Italian firm, duplo was specifically developed for the German market and continues to be primarily produced in Ferrero's manufacturing facilities in Germany (notably in Stadtallendorf). Ownership remains with the Ferrero Group, one of the largest chocolate producers globally, which continues to manage the brand as part of its core portfolio alongside brands like Kinder and Nutella.
