Nicotinell smoking cessation products

Nicotinell is one of the world's most recognized brands for nicotine replacement therapy (NRT). Developed originally as part of a pharmaceutical effort to aid smoking cessation, it has grown from a specialized medical product into a global over-the-counter staple.

Historically, the brand was a key asset in Novartis’s consumer healthcare portfolio. However, in recent years, the ownership landscape has shifted significantly through the creation of Haleon, a dedicated consumer health giant formed from the spin-off of GSK's healthcare division and its joint venture with Pfizer.

Today, Nicotinell is manufactured in various locations across Europe and North America to meet global demand. Following a major strategic deal in 2024, the brand's international rights (outside of certain markets like the USA) were sold to the Global Consumer Healthcare division of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, an Indian pharmaceutical multinational, which now oversees its distribution and growth.
