Abanderado underwear

Abanderado is a historic Spanish brand specialized in men's underwear and hosiery. Founded in the mid-20th century in Mataró, Catalonia, it became a household name in Spain for its quality cotton basics.

Over the decades, the brand's ownership has transitioned through several major corporate entities. Originally part of Sans Branded Apparel, it was later acquired by the American conglomerate Sara Lee. Following corporate spin-offs, it became part of HanesBrands Inc. In 2014, the European division, including Abanderado, was sold to DBApparel, which subsequently became part of HanesBrands again under a consolidated structure. Currently, the brand is owned by HanesBrands Inc., a global leader in basic apparel headquartered in the United States. While the brand has deep Spanish roots, manufacturing is carried out in various global facilities owned or contracted by its parent company.
