Seven Seas JointCare Essential

Seven Seas is a heritage health and wellness brand with a history dating back to 1935. It was originally founded in Hull, United Kingdom, by a cooperative of British trawler owners who recognized the nutritional value of cod liver oil. Over the decades, the brand expanded from its cod liver oil roots into a comprehensive range of vitamins, minerals, and joint health supplements like the JointCare line shown here.

The brand underwent significant corporate ownership changes in the 21st century. It was acquired by the German science and technology company Merck KGaA in 1996. In 2018, Procter & Gamble (P&G) reached an agreement to acquire Merck KGaA's consumer health business, which included Seven Seas. Today, the brand is part of P&G's extensive global healthcare portfolio. Production remains heavily focused in the United Kingdom and Europe to serve its primary markets.
