Aguila Original beer

Aguila is Colombia’s most emblematic beer brand, representing the national spirit and culture since its creation in the early 20th century. Originally brewed in Barranquilla, it has become a staple of Colombian celebrations and social life. The 'Original' variant is a pale lager known for its refreshing taste and deep connection to the country's identity.

The brand has undergone several corporate transitions throughout its history. Originally a product of Cervecería de Barranquilla, it later became a flagship brand under Bavaria S.A., the leading brewery in Colombia. In 2005, Bavaria was acquired by SABMiller, which in turn was acquired by the multinational drinks giant AB InBev in 2016. Today, Aguila is part of AB InBev's extensive global portfolio, though its production remains firmly rooted in Colombia to maintain its authentic local character.
