M. Asam Magic Finish

M. Asam is a prominent German cosmetics brand founded by Mirjam and Marcus Asam. The brand's history is deeply rooted in family tradition, starting with the establishment of Germany's first winery-based skincare production plant in 1963 by Marcus's parents, Ingrid and Erich Asam. In 2002, the couple officially launched the M. Asam brand, focusing on high-quality grape-based anti-aging treatments (VinoGold) and their globally recognized 'Magic Finish' makeup line.

Manufacturing primarily takes place in Germany, where the company maintains its own production facilities and research laboratories to ensure high quality standards. In 2011, BHI Beauty & Health Investment Group was formed to oversee the brand. By 2016, the BHI Group entered into a strategic partnership with the Babor Beauty Group, which eventually became the majority shareholder. This acquisition aimed to expand the brand's international distribution while maintaining its 'Made in Germany' heritage.
