While the brand originated in the Netherlands, its manufacturing footprint is global. Kruidvat's private label items are produced in various locations across Europe and Asia, depending on the product type—ranging from personal care to healthcare and small household essentials. In 2002, the Kruidvat Group was acquired by the Hong Kong-based multinational CK Hutchison Holdings. Today, Kruidvat operates as a key part of the A.S. Watson Group, which is the world's largest international health and beauty retailer. This ownership places the brand under a massive global infrastructure while maintaining its strong local Dutch identity.
