Lemon Soda is a famous Italian carbonated lemon-flavored soft drink that has attained iconic status in Italy. Originally launched in the 1940s by the company Milanese, it eventually became part of the iconic Crodo family of beverages. The product is renowned for its use of real lemon pulp and natural juice from Italian orchards, specifically sourced to provide its distinctive refreshing taste.
In terms of business evolution, the brand was acquired by the multinational Campari Group in 1999. In late 2017, the brand underwent a significant change in ownership when Gruppo Campari sold its non-alcoholic sparkling beverage business, including Lemon Soda and the Crodo mineral water brand, to the Danish brewing giant Royal Unibrew. Today, it continues to be produced in Italy at the Crodo plant, maintaining its original heritage while being part of a larger international beverage portfolio.
