Kay Bojesen's Songbirds are iconic pieces of Danish design, originally created in the 1950s by the silversmith and designer Kay Bojesen. These wooden birds, each with its own distinct personality and vibrant colors (or natural wood finishes like those shown), remained unproduced for decades until they were brought into production by the Rosendahl Design Group in 2012 based on Bojesen's original sketches.
Today, the brand Kay Bojesen Denmark is managed by the Rosendahl Design Group, which specializes in preserving and promoting Scandinavian design heritage. While the brand is deeply rooted in Danish woodcarving traditions, manufacturing can take place in both Denmark and international facilities to meet global demand while maintaining the high-quality woodcraft standards set by the original founder.
