In recent years, the ownership structure of the company has seen significant shifts. While long controlled by the Della Valle family, the company moved toward privatization. As of 2024, the private equity firm L Catterton launched a successful tender offer to take the company private, in partnership with the Della Valle family and with the backing of the luxury conglomerate LVMH. This move was designed to provide the brand with greater flexibility for long-term growth within the luxury market while maintaining its historical Italian heritage.
