Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second-largest planet in our solar system. A gas giant composed mostly of hydrogen and helium, it is famously known for its spectacular and complex ring system, which is made of ice, dust, and rock particles.
Formed approximately 4.5 billion years ago, Saturn originated from the solar nebula where gravity pulled swirling gas and dust together. It is a natural celestial object and is not manufactured in the traditional sense. It possesses a unique atmospheric feature at its north pole—a six-sided jet stream known as the Hexagon—and is orbited by at least 146 moons, including the potentially habitable Titan and Enceladus.
