Santa Maria is a well-known brand in Northern Europe, famous for its spices, barbecue products, and Tex-Mex concepts. The brand originated in Sweden and was initially founded by Nordfalks, a spice merchant company.

Today, the brand is owned by the Finnish food company Paulig, a family-owned international group. While the brand has Swedish roots, a significant portion of its production has been moved to specialized facilities across the Baltic region and Europe. The grill oils, like the one shown, are primarily manufactured at the Paulig factory in Saue, Estonia, which serves as a major hub for Santa Maria's liquid product lines.
