Philips Walita is a renowned household appliance brand specifically tailored for the Brazilian market. The brand was born from the acquisition of the Brazilian company Walita by the Dutch giant Philips in 1971. Originally, Walita was founded in 1939 by Waldemar Clemente and Lita (his wife), starting as a small manufacturer of electrical home appliances in São Paulo.

Today, the brand operates as a subsidiary of Philips, which recently underwent a major restructuring. In 2021, Philips sold its Domestic Appliances division to the global investment firm Hillhouse Investment. Since then, the brand (including the Philips Walita name) has been managed by Versuni. Manufacturing is global, with significant production in China and other Asian hubs, though the brand maintains a strong engineering and strategic focus on the Latin American market.
