Piracanjuba is one of the most prominent dairy brands in Brazil, specializing in long-life milk, cheeses, and specialized dairy products like this zero-lactose salted butter. The brand was established in 1955 in the state of Goiás and has since expanded to be a national leader in the lactose-free segment.
Manufacturing takes place within Brazil, utilizing a network of domestic production facilities that source milk from across the country. In 2019, the brand entered into a significant strategic partnership with the Swiss multinational Nestlé, involving the licensing and manufacturing of certain dairy categories, which significantly strengthened its market presence. Today, it remains under the ownership of Laticínios Bela Vista, one of the largest dairy companies in Brazil, maintaining its headquarters in Goiânia.
