Koskenkorva Sata is a special edition release from the iconic Finnish brand Koskenkorva, created to commemorate Finland's 100th anniversary of independence in 2017. The name 'Sata' translates to 'one hundred' in Finnish. Unlike standard vodka, this is a traditional Finnish 'viina' (spiced vodka) crafted from local barley and pure spring water, featuring subtle notes of honey and yarrow.

The brand's history dates back to 1953 in the village of Koskenkorva, where production continues to this day focusing on sustainability and circular economy practices. Originally managed by the Finnish state alcohol monopoly Alko, the brand is now under the ownership of Anora Group, a leading Nordic alcoholic beverage company formed through the merger of Altia and Arcus. Anora Group is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, and remains the primary steward of this quintessential Finnish spirit.
