Cervezas Alhambra is an iconic Spanish brewery established in 1925 in Granada, Andalusia. The Reserva 1925, featured in the distinctive green glass bottle without a paper label, is the brand's flagship premium lager, reflecting almost a century of brewing tradition.
Originally founded by Carlos Bouvard and Antonio Knörr, the brand became a central part of Granada's industrial identity. After a series of financial challenges in the late 20th century, the company was eventually acquired in 2006 by Mahou San Miguel, the largest Spanish-owned brewing company. Today, production remains primarily focused in Spain, maintaining the specific yeast strains and brewing processes that define its artisanal character under the stewardship of the Mahou Group.
