OLW Virginia Traditional Large Peanuts are a popular Swedish snack known for their size and high quality. The brand OLW (Old London Wasa) was founded in 1967 as a joint venture between the Swedish company Wasabröd and the American company Borden Foods, establishing a long tradition of producing chips and nuts for the Nordic market.
Today, the brand is owned by the Norwegian conglomerate Orkla ASA through its subsidiary Orkla Confectionery & Snacks. While the peanuts themselves are imported from regions like the United States (as the 'Virginia' name suggests) or other international peanut-growing countries, the final processing, roasting, and packaging typically take place in Sweden.
