Nocilla is the leading cocoa and hazelnut spread in Spain, first launched in 1968 by the company Nutrexpa. Often considered Spain's primary competitor to Nutella, the brand has built a strong cultural identity around its unique recipe and its transition to palm-oil-free formulas in recent years.
The product is manufactured in Spain, primarily at the facility located in Parets del Vallès (Barcelona). Following the split of the original Nutrexpa group, the brand became part of Idilia Foods. Today, Nocilla continues to expand its catalog beyond spreads into cookies, snacks, and ice cream while maintaining its heritage as a Spanish household staple.
