Pulco is a renowned French brand specializing in citrus-based concentrates and lemonades. Originally launched in 1973 under the name 'Citrange' by the company Marie Brizard, it was later rebranded as Pulco. The brand gained fame for its concentrated lemon juice which allowed consumers to make fresh lemonade at home by simply adding water.
Over the decades, the brand's ownership has shifted through several major beverage conglomerates. It was acquired by Pernod Ricard, then sold to Cadbury Schweppes in 2001. After the demerger of Cadbury Schweppes, it became part of the Dr Pepper Snapple Group and was eventually integrated into the Suntory Beverage & Food Europe portfolio. Today, Pulco remains a staple in French households, primarily manufactured in France to serve the European market under the stewardship of the Japanese multinational Suntory.
